Refunds & cancellation

Eligibility

Refunds are available to the person or company named on the invoice. We do not refund a seat because a colleague failed to attend, unless that colleague is the named participant and you cancel within the windows below. Complimentary or scholarship seats have no cash refund.

Timeframe

For Calibration Bench and shorter live desks: a full refund is available if you cancel in writing at least 14 days before the published start date of the intake. Between 13 and 5 days before start, you may receive a 50% refund or, at your choice, a transfer to the next equivalent intake. Inside 5 days, fees are non-refundable except where we cancel or make a substantial change (see Exceptions).

For Ledger Seat (reading access): a full refund is available within 14 days of payment if you have not downloaded or been sent more than two paid recordings. After that window, Ledger Seat is non-refundable for the remaining months.

For Nodecore Circle: the annual fee may be refunded pro rata for unused months only if you cancel in writing within 30 days of the Circle start date and you have not used more than one office-hour slot. After day 30, Circle is non-refundable for that year, though you may pause guest-reader invitations.

Full versus partial refunds

Full refund means the programme fee you paid us, excluding bank transfer charges your bank kept. Partial refund means 50% of that fee, or a pro rata Circle amount as described above. We do not refund third-party costs (travel, hotels, software licences you bought yourself).

Non-refundable items

Consumed office-hour slots, printed materials already shipped at your request, guest dinners, and any add-on invoiced as “non-refundable” in the invoice line. VAT already remitted may be handled according to Thai tax rules; we will explain if a tax adjustment is required instead of a simple cash return.

Refund process

Write to info@metric-nodecore.digital with the subject “Refund request,” your invoice number, and whether you prefer a refund or a transfer. Phone 662 3741174 if you need to flag the email. We confirm receipt within two working days and state whether you fall in the full, partial, or non-refundable window.

Processing time and method

Approved refunds are paid by the same method we received (usually bank transfer) within 15 working days after we confirm approval. We do not send cash. If your company paid, the refund returns to that company account unless you both instruct otherwise in writing.

Cancellation by you

Cancellation must be in writing (email is enough). Silence is not cancellation. If you simply stop attending, the seat remains billed and recordings stay available for the original intake window.

Exceptions

If Metric Nodecore cancels an intake, or postpones it by more than three weeks, you may choose a full refund or a transfer. If faculty named on your confirmation cannot teach and we cannot provide a substitute of similar standing, the same choice applies. Illness or force majeure affecting you personally is considered case by case; we usually offer a transfer first.

Nothing on this page limits mandatory rights you may have under Thai consumer law.
